About

I grew up building Rube Goldberg machines and designing treehouses in the forest. I almost always had my head buried in a spiral notebook; drawings inching out of the margins of my schoolwork and eventually consuming entire pages.

After earning my BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute I spent several years working in various print shops and eventually turned back to my roots in illustration, offering graphic design and branding services to local forward-thinking businesses and startups.

As a graphic designer, I enjoy creating clean, well-balanced designs and adding a bit of humor and nostalgia where I can. My photography embodies much of the exploration and adventure I experienced in my youth. It continues to be a deeply meditative process that typically yields collections of quiet, reflective imagery.
