YELLOW HOUSE COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER

Find your voice, vision, and power

The challenge posed by Yellow House Community Arts Center was to create new branding that would reflect the Victorian architecture and vibrant personality of the center while giving its historic building an accessible, contemporary feeling.

I began by researching the history of the facility and crafting a visual mood board of images that captured the essence of the location. I then created a design that combined the building's unique angles and curvatures with a modern sans-serif font and warm color palette to build depth and vibrancy. To bring the new brand identity to life, I worked with local shops to create custom stamps, business cards, merchandise, and marketing materials that proudly displayed the new branding.

As a result, Yellow House Community Arts Center was able to effectively communicate its message and values through a new and distinct brand identity. The increased visibility, coherence, and modernity of their brand allowed them to make a greater impact on the community and promote the importance of the arts and education even further.

A responsive logo was created so that the design can adapt to different devices, screen sizes, and contexts without losing its legibility or impact; This ensures that the logo will always look its best no matter where it’s placed and creates consistent brand recognition.
